Heritage Open Days 2010
From Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th September, more buildings in Northumberland than ever before will open their doors or hold special events, tours and walks.  Last year's Heritage Open Days event was the biggest that Northumberland has yet seen, and this year it's even bigger and better!  The nation's largest annual celebration of architecture, history and culture, Heritage Open Days takes place over four days every September, as part of European Heritage Days, which sees 49 countries throw open the doors of thousands of historic places for people to explore for free.  For a downloadable booklet of events, please click here.

Last year NECT created and led a partnership to co-ordinate the Northumberland events, and this has significantly increased the number of participants.  We hope to improve on this yet again in 2011, so if you are interested in participating next year please click here.
