NECT Projects

The Trust is judged by the projects it undertakes.  These have been, and continue to be, many and varied.  No two are ever the same, and this has resulted in the Trust establishing a reputation as a leader in its field.

As a consultancy, we tackle planning and conservation work across the whole of our area of benefit, which is shown on the map.  We look at individual buildings and groups of buildings, to try to find an innovative and sustainable future for them.  We work closely with the communities involved in each project and are renowned for our community consultation.

As a building preservation trust we take on buildings at risk, for which no commercial solution can be found.  In recent years these projects have resulted in the restoration of Eagle and Exchange Buildings in Sunderland, and our recently completed project, Gayle Mill in Yorkshire.

Details on some of our current and past projects are available on this site, by geographical area.  Should you require further details of our work, or to find out how we may be able to assist in a new project of yours, please do not hesitate to contact us.
