Teaching Heritage Skills

There are numerous ways that Heritage Skills can be taught in schools and colleges, from one off sessions as part of careers guidance to year long projects through history, design technology, or other curriculum areas, depending on the needs of your students. This website offers an extensive bank of resources, including activities, advice & information sheets, weblinks, short films, background information and images. These resources are structured for the most part around an outline scheme of work, but can also be used individually and flexibly on other programmes of study. We suggest that you watch the short film above and have a look at the downloads on this page before deciding what works best for you.

For HNC, undergraduate, or postgraduate students, a number of additional information sheets and powerpoints are available, although many of the school and college resources may also be of use.
